Albany upsets Iota in 3A semifinals

CARENCRO - The Rayne High Wolves traveled to Carencro High Friday evening where they faced the No. 10-ranked Bears in the first round of the state basketball playoffs.
BATON ROUGE – Facing just a 12-point deficit at the half, the Notre Dame Pioneers looked to be in pretty good shape in their regional playoff game at No. 1 seed Dunham.
IOTA – One year ago at this time, the Iota Lady Bulldogs were the No. 1 seed in the Class 3A playoffs and headed back to the Top 28 tournament to take on No. 4 Parkview in the semifinals.
ERATH – The Notre Dame Pios bounced back from back-to-back season-opening losses with a pair of impressive victories Saturday in the the Erath Tournament.
