Dr. Rustum Ernest Girouard, Jr. better known as “Ernest”, has been chosen as Honoree of the 2017 International Rice Festival, according to Suzy Webb, festival president.

This year, the Crowley Garden Club, in conjunction with the International Rice Festival Association, brought back the IRF Front Door Decorating Contest for the 80th International Rice Festival.
