The royal court of the fourth annual Krewe de Joie de Vie Mardi Gras Ball raise their glasses in a toast to the season. Joie de Vie welcomes guests to the jungle

All the sights and sounds of a jungle wilderness greeted guests as they entered the Rayne Civic Center for the fourth annual Krewe de Joie de Vie Mardi Gras Ball Saturday, Jan. 20.

The posters are on sale at Crowley City Hall. Cost is $20 signed and $10 unsigned. Mardi Gras excitement growing

The flags have been hung, the balls have begun and now the official Carnival d’Acadie Mardi Gras poster has been released.
Mardi Gras is in the air in the Rice Capitol.
