Sonnichsen, a member of the National and Olympic teams, has served as head coach at several major colleges, a national recruiter all over the country, and was a member of two-time national champions UCLA. As stated by RHS Head Coach Stephanie Garrett, the 2017 volleyball season begins on Tuesday, Aug. 15, with the Lady Wolves participating in the Carencro High School scrimmage. RAYNE - With the commencement of a new school year comes about start of football and volleyball games.
The Rayne High Lady Wolves completed the 2016-2017 softball season with enough wins for a place in the 4A State Playoffs at the No. 32 seed.
Although the Wolves fell in the first round of the 4A state baseball playoffs, Rayne High’s 2016-2017 baseball season was still a productive one.
BATON ROUGE - There was no gold for Acadia Parish athletes who competed in the 2017 LHSAA’s State Track and Field Championships Friday and Saturday.
